Looking for books similar to my just-published “Goodbye Beautiful Wing”, as an eBook, story of trans-ocean bomber competition between Northrop and Convair, started in US as England fought off the Third Reich… and continued as the USAF’s first dedicated A-bomber at the start of the Cold War. Seeking stories of government and corporate interference in weapon-selection. Blog me at troneill.wordpress.com.
I am an author living in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A., currently preparing a feature article for a magazine.
As part of my research, I have been reading “The Jewish Brigade” by Mr. Morris Beckman.
If it is in any way possible for you to contact him, kindly extend to Mr. Beckman my heartfelt appreciation for his fine effort. The book captures a very important and overlooked period and the author has produced an extremely fine piece of historical research,
Whilst reading A 1950′s Childhood I was amazed to see a picture of children on donkey’s at Weston-Super-Mare as I was on one of them ,my sister walking next to me and my mother walking along behind !!! I would love to have a copy of this picture and see that it is from the author’s own collection ; is there any way I could contact him ?
What a fantastic coincidence! If you go through the link below and email us, I will follow up on this for you and see if the author can provide you the picture. http://www.thehistorypress.co.uk/contact-us.aspx
